In my area of this *fine*state we live in,the majority of ppl I know believe like Rusted and others do,that there is a god and that I will "go to hell for being an athiest"(I suppose athiest=Satan worshipper),and I am alienated because of the way I believe and lectured endlessly by my parents and relatives about why I should have the same believes as they do...so,where I'm concearned,athiesm is a "minority".

I'm from New Jersey, but I always screw up the difference between atheism & agnosticism. If someone could clarify, I'd declare which I am.

agnostics are "in between" atheism and faith. it is where you question, learn, and decide for yourself. it is what i am.

Then I have to agree w/ BWD here. I feel I'm an agnostic. I believe in, I don't know, something, but I'm unsure which, and I completely dislike organized religion. I think this is very common with younger generations, btw.
