So i take it u guys toke also lol. I havent seen anyone else ask but ah whatever. I think pot is great and to the taste is very entertaining. :hotjump: I wish i had some pot . Anyways my point is, do you use pot or alcohol to help with songwriting/vocals. Im not saying using it alot just like for me when i used to practice with my band a wile back jack/vodka helped with my vocals. And pot defently has that different perspective when your high, so is alcohol/pot a part of your music life? thanx

I only drink, I will drink before shows and after, I am always down for that. Who uses drugs to write their music anymore, the 60/70's are over. To The Taste is just another song that involves the common drug habit that most people have.

Mota Para Mi, is an old song from the white demo tape in 1998 and that song ends with "It's 4:20" that song came out before Six FeeT Under's song titled 4:20 and says "ItS 4:20" at the end as well. I guess like-minds think alike. So this wasnt the first time Vehemence wrote a song about drugs.

if you wanna hear about my band, here comes:
usually we blaze before/during our practices... but that doesnt necessarily mean that it helps us. i jsut blaze unhealthy amounts of weed every day......
until we got a separate singer, i ahd to drink alcohol before a practice too, it helped me with growls (they come out more audible, longer, and its much easier that way)... red wine is the best for such ocasions....

Well, if you've got nothing else to do but make music, then smoking and drinking on a regular day basis is alright, but if you live in the fucking real world, you know that you have to go to work, spend time with family, and all that other shit that you dont want to do, and you will most likely find other places for musical inspiration than drugs and alcohol. Dont get me wrong, I like to drink and toke, but in a very controllable fashion.

sure pot opens up pathways for more creativity, but if you have to rely on pot to to write music its not really "you" that writing the music. Personally i love getting baked and rocking out to music but when it comes to writing lyrics when im high i try and refrain so it doesnt become a dependecy whenever i want to write some music. But i give a shout to all the az stoners out there! (pst bjorn lets get high sometime heheh)
