i think there is too much comp on this. but also wondering if it is all mixed well. The cymbals are real and the drums are sampled.

There's no point in listening and trying to mix drums alone. Always mix in context, don't solo anything while mixing. There are way too many people who keep making this mistake and that I've said these exact words to.

While I mostly agree with mixing drums in context, sometimes you really should solo things, especially if there's a lot going on in the mix.

I can tell you already that kick probably won't cut through the mix. You really should mix with everything else in there as well.
