I heard one of the songs from the upcoming Dark Tranquillity CD, and a move to roadrunner would only slightly bother me, as it's like Character, and therefore good. But since it happens to be snorefest Dream Theat(re), I don't give a shit.

It boggles me how bands like Fear Factory and Type O wanted out of Roadrunner and older bands like Megadeath and Dream Theater are now signed since usually record companys sign newer bands as opposed to bands already established.

Maybe Roadrunner is the new Sancuary(the record company not Warrel and Jims former band)

They recorded the album already, so them signing to Roadrunner has the impact equivelant to a marshmellow hitting the ground.

They wanted out because when Roadrunner went nu-metal and trend, they fucked their primary metal bands. Seriously, if you had watched their evolution over the past twenty years, it becomes apparent just how completely useless that label has become, aside from hopping on bandwagons and giving a home to old bands who got dropped by the majors.
