Guys,

The man is coming to London. His people have asked the British Government to ban all demonstrations around London and if possible to close parts of London for his arrival.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE.

The British people are up in arms over this....of course we won't entertain this because demonstrating is our 'Constitutional Right.'

This is how they may do things at Capitol Hill but here in the UK it is our democratic right to demonstrate. We can demonstrate anywhere in London including outside the Houses of Parliament.

George is gonna be very shocked when he sees the sentiment of the British public towards him. We have been lied to by our Government; one of our top British Scientists investigating WMD committed suicide after the Government tried to make him the fall guy and just yesterday George wants to pull out of Iraq - because the US casuality rate is rising - abandoning his promise about rebuilding the country.

We are Brits and we will demonstrate. George, get used to it as this ain't the fucking US of A.

Hey the US has a right to demonstrate too, it's what got us here to begin with! :p

Do me a favor and kick him in the shin if you see him. Wear some steel toed boots.

There was a suicide bomb attack at an Italian post in Iraq yesterday killing 30 people. With the rising the death toll (US solders), The White House want to expedite the control of sovereignty back to Iraq. This is the reason why the US are turning to the UN for assistance.

You see, when FOX and the other so call stations report the news all you hear is George going on about Al-Kaida forces in Iraq. This ain't bloody Al-Kaida forces these are forces which are still aligned to President Hussein.

Obviously, the US are unable to pull out immediately but that is what they want to do under the guise of 'return to sovereignty.' It may take time but this is what they want to do. This will of course cause problems with their promises of rebuilding the country.

The thing I don't get is, why did the Italian bombing become the turning point? What about all the US soldiers that died before that?

So they had a quota on how many allied soldiers could die before deciding to remove themselves? This whole thing is about as predictable as a Black Hawk helicopter being shot down behind enemy lines.

I think the turning point was whatshisfuck getting bombed, Wolfowitz I think. The hotel he was staying in was bombed a few weeks ago, I think Bushy started taking it seriously then.

Vietnam is cool. :erk:

No, Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, you're thinking of that old coot Wolf Blitzer.
Imagine growing up with a name like Wolf. Did he shorten that from Wolfgang or something? It's such a porn name.

I've never seen Platoon, but the other two I have. Shame is upon me.
Shame shame, you have no name. Platoon is excellent, although it was Full Metal Jacket that had the vietcong ho saying "Me love you long time, me so horny". That's all anyone remembers from the Vietnam films.

I know a dude that did a report on that actress, she was Chris Farley's wife, "the Saigon whore that bit my nose off," from Dirty Work.

Even with a name like Wolf that dude couldn't be cool, what a fucking putz.

I would find this funny, but since the war on Iraq started I've found anything to do with the Bush regime to be a sick joke that I am incapable of laughing at. This afternoon I read an interview with Bush in The Daily Telegraph where he said he respected the British peoples' right to demonstrate. What a fucking bag of shit hypocrite. While I was reading that, I was wondering "if this is true, why was there a media blackout on anti-war demonstraters in America then?"

This was covered quite well in The Daily Telegraph as well, either today or yesterday. Heh, I wonder what The Daily Mail has had to say about all this :p

The situation in Iraq is deteriorating which is why they are pressing forward to hand the keys over. Why? Presidential election next year.

He should not be allowed to win the office.
Agreed, Bush is only considering bailing the soldiers out to undercut the antiwar candidates, and the fact that he's trying to get foreign authorities to comply with the intrusive and draconian methods of his administration is sickening.

Do us all a favor, get him in your crosshairs and PULL THE FUCKING TRIGGER already!

Better yet, someone needs to hijack Air Force One and fly it into a fucking mountainside. Mount Rushmore perhaps?

I don't think Georgie will be shocked by the British sentiments. Why? Because he really doesn't care....

 Well we already know JayKeeley is being watched by the Feds, maybe this forum is too... better play it safe!

So Bush decides to drop in on some of the families who lost their loved ones in the war, and they shut the door in his face. Did you hear that? Some families just simply refused to have Bush come to their homes. Talk about resentment, although their hatred toward the Blair puppet must be tenfold.

HAHAHA, that's funny. If he ever came to my door I'd probably scream, Homer-style. Either that or kick him in the shin.

Ooooh, that's good! :D Maybe I should read today's paper...

By Bob Roberts, Political Correspondent

GEORGE Bush was last night branded chicken for scrapping his speech to Parliament because he feared being heckled by anti-war MPs.
The US president planned to give a joint address to the Commons and Lords during his state visit to Britain.
But senior White House adviser Dr Harlan Ullman said: "They would have loved to do it because it would have been a great photo-opportunity.
"But they were fearful it would to turn into a spectacle with Labour backbenchers walking out."

SCARED: Bush
The decision to abandon the speech came as extraordinary security measures costing £19million placed London under a state of virtual siege ahead of Mr Bush's arrival tomorrow.
Roads in Whitehall were closed with concrete blockades. Overhead, a no-fly zone has been established with the RAF on standby to shoot down unidentified planes. All police leave is cancelled.
The only speech Mr Bush, who will stay with the Queen at Buckingham Palace, is now due to give will be to an "invited audience" at the Banqueting House in Whitehall.
Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn said: "This is yet another slight on this country by the president of the USA.
"The least he could do is subject himself to questions from MPs."
And colleague John McDonnell said: "Bush might be able to run from the protesters, he might be able not to see the banners.
"But he must not be able to hide from the anger felt across the country at this unjustified war."
Previous world leaders, including Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela and Francois Mitterand, have all given speeches to the Lords and the Commons while visiting Britain.
Tony Blair gave a joint address to the American Senate and Congress in July.
But earlier this year, Bush was embarrassed when he was heckled by MPs in Australia.
Downing Street last night refused to comment on the president's itinerary.
A spokesman said: "We have said consistently the programme details will be announced at the appropriate moment. There is nothing to add to this."
The row about the speech came after President Bush set up a showdown with demonstrators by refusing to be apologetic on the Gulf war.
In an interview with the BBC's Breakfast with Frost show, he said they would not "cut and run" from Iraq. He added: "We will not be defeated by the terrorists."
Mr Bush also refused to grant British pleas for mercy for the six Britons held in Guantanamo Bay.
He said: "They will go through a military tribunal at some point, a military tribunal in international accord, or in line with international accords."
