I was never into electronic music until I discovered this genre a couple of weeks back. Dark and heavy, just like metal :headbang:... I think I'm addicted.
Thoughts?

Bands? Most electronic music is made by a single musician, only occassionally multiple.
Anyways... ignoring that fact... Skream is regarded as the god of dubstep. Boxcutter is awesome too. Vex is kinda cool, quite raw. Distance produces some nice stuff, one of the few artists to have a whole album. I rather like Cruel Culture and Polarity, but no-one seems to have ever heard of them.
Need a fat subwoofer to listen to this music though ^ ^

I think the only dubstep I currently have is the self-titled album by Burial which is pretty good (I decided to check it out after the massive amount of hype that album got for some reason). Haven't really gotten around to seeking out more.

Burial - Untrue was poor.
Apart from the obvious Skream, I'd have to say Digital Mystix put on one of the best dubstep sets I've seen.
I know its "popular" but thats because its good.
I can't stand the dubstep that just sounds like garage.
Oh and Forensics are ace.

I can't listen to most trance, though I do love the deliciously evil sounding atmospheres and tones you can get out of some electronic music.

This stuff sounds good, I'll check more of it out. I also have a bit of a love for more ambient stuff too.
