Not really metal, but stil worthy of a mention. This alternative-rock crew have been doing rather well over in the states, grabbing such fairly high-profile support slots as Sona Fariq, Cyclefly and Groop Dogdrill.

The group specialise in fuzzy riffage, pop-punk attitude and quirky electronic countermelodies, and sound overall a little like At The Drive-In smoking a fatty with Queens Of The Stone Age while listening to a Foo Fighters record.

'Priscilla' is a mid-tempo number with the focus on syncopated beats and rhythm-oriented riffs, while 'The Misadventures of the Great Red Shark' is a faster, harder rock effort.

If you're looking for something a little different to constant metallic battery, maybe you should check out these guys.
