Each night at 10 PM Eastern time...

...UM gets excruciatingly slow, to the point where the pages fail to load at all. This lasts for about ten minutes, then everything goes back to normal.

I was just wondering why that happens. You can close this if anyone can provide the right answer. I'm just curious, and thanks in advance.

I think the administrators might be doing stuff at that time. I've had a page pop up a few times that says they're making changes and the forums "will be back to normal shortly."

It just happened to me. But now everything's okay.

Got me for 15 minutes. Likely a function of connection speed. I'm on cellular internet which is about half the speed of broadband.
