Pioneering U.K. independent label Earache Records has teamed up with ADA/Warner in the USA for a new distribution and services deal, to make its iconic catalog available again physically on CD and vinyl LP from May 5. Founded over 25 years ago in Nottingham, England, Earache launched the early extreme metal movement in the 1990s with bands such as NAPALM DEATH, MORBID ANGEL, GODFLESH, SLEEP, CLUTCH and CARCASS. Almost ten years ago, Earache released the USA debut of BRING ME THE HORIZON, a then-little-known U.K. band which has since gone on to great global success. Still founder-owned and operated, Earache label head Digby Pearson was honored with the AIM Pioneer Award 2015 for services to the independent sector. Recently the label has been at the forefront of a re-energized blues rock movement, with bands such as Long Beach's RIVAL SONS (currently playing arenas supporting BLACK SABBATH) and THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT (who completed a tour with THE ROLLING STONES last year) both charting Top 20 across Europe. Titles from both bands will be available for sale. Earache will issue RIVAL SONS' new album, "Hollow Bones", on June 10 exclusively through ADA/Warner, which will cement this exciting partnership. Earache USA label manager Al Dawson comments: "We at Earache are beyond excited to partner with ADA for the USA. This is a next level, game-changing step in the company's evolution within today's rapidly-changing music business. Our ADA team has so much talent it's awe-inspiring. Look forward to us building careers for many more new and mind-blowing artists." Retailers should contact their ADA/Warner representative for more details.
