I will share a couple more details about the band if people haven't heard about them yet.

- Their are primarily an instrumental band with guest vocalists in a few of their songs.
- They have spared NO DIME in creating this product. I mean it.
- The album is so good, it's unbelievable. Album of the year candidate even though there's a lot of instrumental on it.
- Their live concept obviously isn't going to be having all singers on stage all the time. They are fine tuning the experience right now, but my understanding is that it will essentially be having those singers "perform" via a screen, synced with the live music. I am honestly a little skeptical but want to see it in person to "get it."

Upon listening to the other song..
1.this goes in imediate contention for CD of the year
2.I definitely hear a bit of TesseracTin their sound...I like that they took that style and made it unique in a way

Will this be out by prog power and will any vendors have this ?

from the press release:
"New Haven-based progressive ensemble, Earthside, will release its debut album, A Dream In Static, on October 23rd."

so, no.

wow, that was amazing. Look forward to hearing the album.

Its shame Lajon won't have a bigger part beyond this song. Sevendust was one of the few nu-metal bands I actually listened to back in my teens, along with SOAD and the deftones.

I listened to plenty of Sevendust as a teenager, so to see him singing in a band like this is such a trip! But.........

......holy fuck I wasn't expecting to agree with all you people so wholeheartedly. That was a fantastic song....I want him on the whole album.

I'm shocked Devin Townsend isn't a part of this,as this would be such a fit for his many versatile atributes to his voice(melodic, operetic and growlies)

Curious to hear the song with Speed(Strid)

Totally reminds me of Porcupine Tree but mixed with something more, not sure what that is yet. Need to digest more, Thanks G
