Thought I'd stop by and let you all know that Jonah Weingarten (Pyramaze keys), and myself are working on a new project that you might like. The music is symphonic metal with female operatic vocals.

We are still in writing / demo mode but we are shooting for an early 2009 release.

ECHOTERRA Completes Work On Debut Album

ECHOTERRA, the new female-fronted symphonic rock/metal band featuring Swedish vocalist Suvi Virtanen (ex-THERION), keyboardist Jonah Weingarten (PYRAMAZE), guitarist Yan Leviathan (AVIAN), bassist Brian Hollenbeck on bass, and drummer John Gensmer (EPICUREAN), will release its debut album, "The Law Of One", this fall. One of the songs that will appear on the CD, "In Your Eyes", is currently available for streaming on the group's MySpace page.

What I've heard so far on the myspace page sounds really good! This band brings together a mixture of artists from some other very talented metal bands including, Avian, Pyramaze, Therion, and Epicurian. If your a fan of Nightwish (more Tarja-era) or Edenbridge, you should give these guys and gal a listen.

The Law Of One will be available in North America and on line via CD Baby and iTunes this September and will be released by Blinding Force Recordings. European and Japan released dates will be announced at a later date.
