:OMG: Wow! You're very talented! Can't wait to see what you can do with a girlie monster!

Wow, this cat can lay down a bad ass Eddie. Guess you won't need to import Mr. Riggs services for the next album! Hell, the original Iron Maiden should meet this fella. Their cover art has sucked in recent years...

Holy.....:worship: :worship: :worship: DAMN! That's some great stuff! Hey, are these done on the computer or are they actually hand drawn and painted???? They look stunning! Great colors too! You are truly talented! :headbang: Can't wait to see more!

WOW!!! Dude, you gotta take advantage of that talent. You're in Riggs league. Shit, even the maiden men themselves would probably hire you. Have you had contact with them? It's not just the drawings, but also the idea. Piece of Mind Eddie coming out of his Powerslave Eddie coffin, frekken awesome idea! You mentioned this is another one of your drawings, where can we see some others?

Thanks everyone for the kind responses !!!!

I came up with a pretty neat idea for an Eddie/monster type girl...I'll try to have it done this weekend in between my NFL poop.

Doo: All my doodles are hand painted/inked/coloured. I like to work with acrylics mostly because I hate the smell of all the chemicals associated with working in oils....especially after what happened with the mighty Frazetta and his thyroid.
The one thing I really hate about PC art is that there's no original ...to hold a copy , it has to be printed out ...which makes selling the original doodle a bit difficult.

Here's last years X-mas card entry.......it didnt win either. :p

I totally remember this submission! I saw it and almost died laughing! I asked if you did your art "analogue" because just like sound recordings it has extra warmth and I could see the textured look from painting in areas. Very nice. I really look forward to your newest creation! Cheers! Glad to have ya on the boards!

Another Eddie...this one was "borrowed" by a few metal mags in Europe and never paid/compensated me for its use...the bastards.

:p

Thanks Guys....

I have Doo-Doo's monster chick almost completed and I'll get it posted tonight or tomorrow....in the meantime , here's a pic I took of Bruce during the Beast tour with my crappy instamatic camera....which is why its so grainy....got him to sign it a few years later.

Wheeee! So excited! I can't wait!!!! That pic of Bruce is a great pose! Looks like his head is gonna fall off! LOL! That's CLive Burr's drums isn't it? I think I see his octobans!

Lol.yeah.I also dig how Bruces eyes have rolled up into the back of his head...if only I had a better camera back in those days....

Octoban ?........I think I ate one those at the mall last week.....:p

Here's a silly pic from 1986-87...dig my t-shirt............

Herve Rocks :worship:

One of you two should be doing their albums!

Dude, we are totally on the same wavelength on mediums. Everyone is always trying to convince me to use oils, but acrylics are my best friends! I have Frazetta cards in my collections. Love his work. I love computers, but nothing beats handmade work! My drawing is #5 in the inside cover of the Maidens CD. You're great! Keep it up and I'm sure you'll find a lot of people willing to pay you good money for your talent. Stick to your guns on artists' integrity and the right people will come your way. You rule dude!;)

Maiden67 : Yeah , I dig acrylics more , especially since I'm not a big fan of the thinners and stuff. Have you got your hands on a copy of Frazettas "Painting With Fire" DVD? If not....you should be ashamed...lol.......

Great documentary. Actually shows the man himself drawing left handed....a god among men that Frazetta.

Anyway , here's the other Maiden X-mas card piece that didnt win anything....both of this years entries will be up on Ebay starting tomorrow afternoon.
