The band naturally are very excited about headlining as Bassist Paul Logue confirms "Absolutely! This is a real challenge for the band and dare I say it, quite a gamble in many ways! We have been so used to going out as the opening band for such great acts like Dream Theater and Stratovarius and now it's our time to stand on our own two feet. So I guess you could say the feeling is more of nervous excitement! How many kids dream of standing up on a stage playing a headline set to their fans? I'm sure it will be amazing just getting the opportunity to play an extended set for our extremely loyal fan base that has waited patiently for this to happen. This tour is 100% for them".

Paul goes onto explain how vital the Eden's Curse fans are to the success of not just this tour but future endeavours. "They are absolutely key! We have such amazing and passionate fans in the UK and they have always delivered in the past for us. This however, is without question when we really need them the most! I appreciate that some of the shows are midweek and some people may have to travel to get there, but my experience as a regular concert goer in this country is that Rock music knows no boundaries! However the harsh reality of today's music business is that if we want to tour again in the UK we need our fans to show up in numbers to these shows and I have every faith that they will! If you are coming, bring a friend and let's have a party!"

Support on the tour will come from various established Hard Rock acts such as Tainted Nation (fronted by Eden's Curse drummer Pete Newdeck), Stormzone, Fahran (new band of former Serpentine lead vocalist Matt Black), Estrella, Skin&Bone (formerly Tara's Secret) and Dendera. Whilst the show at Grimsby will be a co-headline with Absolva (ex-Fury UK) and Babylon Fire.

Be good to see you Sir Dom! Been too long fella

For those attending other shows.......expect to see Mr Owen at Swansea, Mr Midgley at Bolton, Mr Finnie in Glasgow and Mr Smith will be at either London or Wolverhampton I believe :)

I know Paul and the booking agency have been looking into European possibilities dude but it's very much like the situation was with PQ sadly.......obviously I don't make the financial decisions in EC but every time PQ went to Europe I lost money, which I was prepared to do because it was a case of following dreams. However, if I was asked now to fund or part fund a tour myself I would have to say no as sadly I know what the outcome would be.

np Steve, I understand your point of view :) would do the same thing...
maybe you guys will be askes by one band or another to support them :p
you never know what the future brings :)
i don't come to the uk that often :p and if we do there's always something in the way like a traincrash in Belgium :p

I suspect the more likely option would be a festival or a couple of shows over a weekend. Something like the Freedom Call tour would be great for EC though I'm sure.

It's tough out there...particularly when you have already been through it all once as I have. I love touring and I wish I could have toured EU a lot more with PQ back in the day but I guess it just wasn't to be.

Probably the last time I'll be here before I head to Glasgow on Friday to begin rehearsals ahead of the tour next week.

See you in Wakefield Kingface......in London Dom :) Hopefully see a few more friendly faces along the way too!

Fantastic show in Wakefield last night! Great turn out and a deservedly great reception! Would have loved to stick around longer after the show but unfortunately a friend of mine was not feeling well at all and needed fresh air so thought it only right I made sure he was OK.

Anybody who sees Eden's Curse is in for a treat!

Seeing EC and catching Steve at the Underworld exceed expectations! They absolutely kicked arse. The vocalist was studio perfect. The guitarist was a shredmeister extrodinaire. The bassist was great fun and a great backing vocalist. The new drummer was brilliant and is a thoroughly nice chap. And it was a very very special gig with Doogie White guesting as well!!!!! Sen-fecking-sational! Oh and Alessio made an appearance! Cheers for everything Steve I hope to see you again really soon!
