Listened up to Pohjola so far. Love every track

Pohjola is just so bizarre though haha. Love the choir chorus and music, but the rest of it is just a mish-mash of.. madness!

Don't know what to make of it to be honest. It's missing that special feeling VS and FA had, nothing has me drawn back for more.

Amount of ballads is perplexing, and what's worse is they remind me of Nightwish and Blackmores Night (like them but I don't want Ensiferum to sound like them ). Why the need for guest vocalists when you already have 3, I want to hear Petri, not some guest who can never sing that song live. Even Markus's vox which I usually like don't sound as endearing.

The songs, while decent, just don't give me an Ensiferum feeling at all... half the album sounds like campfire EP or something.

The colour of the artwork also doesn't fit the music at all for me. I guess they would have expected some responses like this with such a big change.
