Does anyone know how CoB get their guitar solos to sound that way, and their guitars in general?

check my follow the reaper vid at youtube.. thats almost the sound i think... http://youtube.com/watch?v=0txe7TZXEqM
check the KTS one too.. same sound..
i'm using a mesa/boogie dual rectifier with Boss-RV5 reverb in the FX Loop through a KORG microphone into a behringer mixer

well my guitar pickups suck :( (gonna have the nice EMG-81 in my soon-built custom :hotjump:)

Sweet thats cool as hell.

sorry, this is off topic, but do you any of you know what the name of the font is on the "Follow the Reaper" album? i want the font name for "follow the reaper." not "children of bodom"

More off topic...I don't know much about what woods are used for what reason. I like the sound of my alder but, why aren't other woods used, like maybe cherry, or even...pine? I dunno, just wondering.

alder fretboard? I never heard of that lol

But yeah Mahogany body and neck would be the shizzle.
haha lol i meant maple fretboard... well its just plane maple neck.. you know.. :)

Yeah, but fretboard really doesn't bother me that much, i like ebony, rosewood and maple equally, makes the smallest of differences.
