effin busy Mix! no samples..brass, piano, rectifier, krank ;)

[LSD-Studio]

some of you guys have already heard the raw drumtracks...then got the snaresample....then listened to my version of the drummix...


so here's the first version of the entire mix now

guitars are 2 tracks of Fender strat w JB HB into Dual Recto

clean guitar (rather quiet funky stuff) is a washburn es-s,pething copy into krankenstein+.

Bass is an marleaux, DI and Sansamp blended.

then we've got 3 trombones and 3 trumpets

and a piano (the only vsti cause it's just filling a bit anyway)
besides that
ALL INSTRUMENTS ARE REAL NO SAMPLES USED

Yeah the style... but the mix is great! The brass may be a little loud, but I've never mixed brass or listen to music with brass so what do I know. That minute nitpicking aside it really does sound great.

for the "bababa" we actually have a trombone in there playing that..it's so fricking low that the waveform doesn't look like a wave but like a series of impulses
