If you haven't gotten the new Eidolon cd, Apostles of Defiance, go get it now it fucking kills. I just picked up the new Balance of Power cd, Heathen Machine, which is pretty good as well. The Eidolon cd comes with a bonus cd it's their very first record Zero Hour its a great 2 for 1 deal.

i just got the new crown record...tis standard faire by them but i really like what they do so its pretty amazing....johan is much better suited for the band than tompa was...and man..is the layout and artwork for it crazy gay....and not on record...but king diamonds encores were halloween[of course] and no presents for xmas....so yeah....i was a waaaaay happy dork in a costume

I'd like to see Eidolon finally start playing in the U.S. I didn't get to see the Bw&BK gig but I did see some of it on tape. I know with Glen and Shawn Drover having families and jobs it's hard to go out on a real tour, but I would at least like to see them start playing the other metal fests in the country. They're one of the better power metal type bands out there, they deserve more recognition.

I don't like them. They didn't cover the Neverending Story theme which, IMO, is the highest height any power metal band can ascend to.
