Wow, what a kick arse song to play! If anyonoe has Rock Band, then get your tails onto the marketplace for the xbox 360 or the PSN Store for the PS3 and download it. Hopefully they'll keep putting more on there. I know "Souls Of Black" is supposed to ship with Rock Band 2.

Of course I support my band. But I guess that was kind of snotty. It's just that I just watched a story about that game on Cnn.And the kids on it were acting like they really were playing the songs and saying shit like " it's so nice to be able to play these songs and not have to sit there and put the work into guitar,I can sit and play any song I want".And I'm like but your not playing the songs! As someone who's been playing for 15 years and loves working at it...well it just pissed me off.Sorry about that.

i see what you're saying and i totally agree its NOTHING compared to a playing an actual guitar. i've seen vids on YouTube that shows some kids acting like they're trained professionals. it does make a real musician angry, but what can ya do? i'm a gamer though so i figured i'd pass on the "Electric Crown" news since this is a Testament forum.

as for the question about Rock Band and GH being alike. i don't think they are. i have GH, GH2, and GH3 and Rock Band and Rock Band makes you feel more involved with the music and the game, where as GH is strictly just hitting the guitar notes and thats it. Rock Band is much better, in my opinion of course. Both have goods and bads.

I'm to addicted to Modern Warfare online to even try it haha.I am glad Testament is getting their music brought to people that normaly wouldn't know them.I don't mean you.Other people.

yeah, i've played the crap out of COD4. i think i'm in the middle of my 8th prestige, but i needed to take a break from it because i didn't want it to become one of those shelf dust collectors due to me wearing the fun out of it. i'm pumped for COD: World At War this november. i think it'll be awesome too.

I don't know if I can go back to a WW2 era game after Modern warfare. No real machine guns or frag grenades. No real good snyper guns either.I guess I'll have to at least rent it.

look, im not trying to be rude...but in all honesty, i hate this game, i hate what it portrays, i hate the mentality of it all, yea i play guitar...but that's beside the point.....its like.."hey lets take all the instruments out of the schools , cut spending on artistic programs and give em a glamorized air guitar"

maybe it may inspire a couple of people to play guitar or an instrument or open the minds of some who would never dig some genres of music, and that's all well and good. but i think it supports the idea of an already slippery slope of laziness in America...you know "why should i learn to play when i can pretend to play"...as they get fatter and more complacent....

ok

rant over

Yeah that may be true, but the major differince between real instruments and Rockband-instruments is that you can compose your own songs on real instruments. I mean, I've never heared anyone who wrote a new song with his 4 color-buttons and his flappy thing.

When I was at the Testament singing session at Zaavi in Central London a couple of months ago, there was a guy who was playing one of those Guitar Heroes games next to the Testament booth. He had no idea who Testament was and seemed totally oblivious to all the commotion around him with the queue right behind him. He was totally absorbed in the game and was very busy pressing those buttons. I couldn't help thinking: "What a dork?!"

I like the new Souls of black...awesome sound and great drumming...
Is it better then the Classic? - hmmm, yeah maybe!
