I don't know about the rest of the world because you've probably never heard of her, but here in Italy Elisa is becoming more and more popular. I'm really starting to like her music; kind of a cross between Bjork and Alanis Morrissette. Alanis annoys me, but Elisa has a voice and a style similar to that. Her new song, "The Waves" is fucking great, and her voice has a range that Bruce Dickinson would aspire to. I really hope she gets more recognition, because back in the states all we have are garbage pop singers like Britney, Christina and Avril ( I know she's Canadian...close enough), though Christina has a great voice. If you haven't heard of her, definitely check it out.
