***WOLVERINE

The band are gearing up for the November 17th release of their
Elitist debut "Cold Light Of Monday". The reviews are starting to
come in already and so far the reaction has been amazing.
Nothing less than 8/10 so far, and we're excited that the band's
bold move into uncharted musical waters seems to have paid
dividends for them. Here's what the mags have been saying:

"Following the steps of Pain of Salvation, Wolverine's "Cold Light
of Monday" is a revelation of dark emotional progressive metal.
Sensitive, rare...simply beautiful. " - www.obskure.com

8/10 - www.southspace.com

9/10 - www.gothicmetal.de

"Cold Light Of Monday" is a challenging, emotionally charged
concept piece, charting the downward spiral taken by the story's
main character "Sarah". The opening track shows her sitting
alone in a filthy room, with the rest of the album telling the tale of
how she got to be there in the first place. Wolverine tackle the
subjects of spousal abuse, loneliness, rejection and desperation
with aplomb, weaving their intelligent lyrics around a darkened
progressive rock soundscape perfect for the album's theme.

We have the track "New Best Friends" available for download
here: http://www.elitistrecords.co.uk/wolverine2.mp3 .

***LUNARIS

The band are putting the finishing touches to their second album
"Cyclic". This time the band are going for a harder edge, touching
a death metal sound in places, yet still retaining that progressive
feel that sets them apart from their peers. There's an amazing
showcase of talent on display here, not only from the band
themselves, but guest appearances from members of Testament,
Death, Borknagar, Arcturus, Sadus and more! Cyclic looks to be
the album that will take Lunaris into the big league.

The final track list has yet to be finalized, but songs to be included
are:

Casualties of Peace
Existence Unveiled
Lessons in Futility
In Nothing
Mendacities of a Corporate Messiah
When it Ends
Cyclic
Mot Natt
Intricate Astral Deception
Altruismens Gravøl
Slaves of Opinion

No songs are available for download yet, but keep an eye on the
Elitist forum as that could change any day now!

***FRANTIC BLEEP

The band is presently hard at work on their debut album that Elitist
will be releasing in the European territories.

They have promised a production of epic proportions, and the
album should be finished around December.

There's no finalised track list, but the songs set for inclusion are:

1) A Survey
2) The Expulsion
3) ...But A Memory
4) Curtainraiser
5) Mausolos Nephew
6) Mandaughter
7) Sins Of Omission
8) Nebulous Termini
9) Cone

The band's acclaimed demo is available to download in full from
www.franticbleep.com . See for yourself why we were so keen to
work with this innovative, forward thinking act.

***WITHOUT FACE

The Hungarian prog-metallers have announced the two new
members of the band to replace the recently departed Juliette Kiss
(vocals) and Roomy (Guitars).

Dina is the new female vocalist, a 21-year-old Hungarian. Without
Face will be her first band, but she has many years of singing
experience outside of the metal scene.

Zsolt is the new guitar player. He's an experienced 6-stringer in
the vein of Malmsteen, etc. He's already established within the
Hungarian metal scene, but Without Face is the first signed band
he's been involved with.

The band is hard at work writing new material to follow up the
acclaimed "Astronomicon" album, and hopes to be able to start
recording again in the spring of 2004.

***EPHEL DUATH

The band recently recorded a couple of "work-in-progress" tracks
at a studio, and from what we've heard this new material is going
to take their trademark sound to another realm entirely. It's similar
in style to the "Painter's Palette" material, only the band have
raised the bar in terms of musicality and sheer innovation.

The band has been auditioning a number of hopefuls to replace
the recently departed vocalist Davide. It seems that a favorite is
close to being unveiled. More news when we have it.

There's also good news from Kerrang magazine, where Ephel
Duath have been chosen to be included on the magazine's "Best
Of 2003" cover CD to be published on November 26th. Over
100,000 copies will be circulated around the UK!

In the meantime, the band will be obligating their existing live
commitments using only one vocalist. Check out the live show
section at www.earache.com to see if the band is playing near
you soon. Also, if you're a concert promoter, or know one who
would be interested, the band is looking to play shows anywhere
and everywhere. They're a world-class live act and have to be
seen to be believed. Contact Code7 management at
emi@code7.it if you can help.
