Not much to do with the Maidens, but thought I'd post something positive since the news can be a real downer. Nearly a year later a tip lead police to the missing girl who was abducted from her home in Utah at gunpoint. She's the little girl that was in the news clips for the last year shown playing the harp. Hope justice is served for once and the trash that took her pay.

The trash that took her was a religious freak...

I'm very glad she was found. You can never be too careful w/ your daughters people...if i ever have one, she'll be a black belt in 4 different styles of martial arts by the time she is 12. Then it's off to military school (or maybe just camp) and she'd gotta learn to pilot an apache helicopter which means she'd need her dad's vision!

Might be smart not to bring home wacked-out vagrants and introduce them to your 15 year old daughter as well ='.'=

It seems strange to me.....
It is a wonderful thing that she was found alive,
but she was 14 years old when she dissapeared
and being 14 she must have had some intellect as
to what was happening to her ?? I don't know.
My girlfriend thought that maybe she wanted to get away from her family because something may have been going on inside the home. I don't subscribe to
that notion, but her father seems to be pretty
'religious' and maybe there is more to the story.
I just have a hardtime with the 'religious fantics'
period. I have found most of them to be hypocrites
and lunatics.
Anyway, the abductor will get whats coming to him.
I hope he gets his a## beat while in prison.
And in closing..........If you want to become stronger spiritually, forget EVERTHING you have learned about religion.

Drudge floated the theory that she ran away from home, because she said to the police " I am not the girl who you think ran away " or something to that effect. I've seen this quote in other reports, but no one has seemed to pick up on the run away theory. It's probably just a theory and not what happened, but who knows?

It's interesting... the Liz Smart coverage here pretty much ended completely as soon as the war began. It's creepy to think she was here in the State most of the time right up in the hills behind here house, only a few miles from where we live! Here hasn't been much news or updates on her condition or her abductor since the war started. It's still a huge debate here in Utah on whether or not she was willing to escape, wanted to leave home or was truly taken against her will...
