EMG 81-7

It wouldn't fit into a spot with the plastic borders around it, where a "normal" stock pickup would go. You would probably need to remove the plastic and use a router to make the spot large enough.

Strange, I just traded my 707 for an 81-7 from a member on here. The 81-7's housing is the same as the 707 (bass pickup housing) so it's larger than normal passive pickups. That's good that you didn't have to route or anything BD, my friend had to route his Washburn 7 out for the 707 he originally had to replace the stock Washburn passive.

Picture of what? The 81-7? No. It's not a standard sized pickup. I just swapped the 707 (which uses the oversized bass housing and is definitely not a standard size pickup) out on my HellRaiser C7 with an 81-7 and the 81-7 is IDENTICAL in size. I can take a pic later today if you are still in disbelief. But I guarantee that you will have to route your guitar out if it isn't already done for that size housing.
