Vocalist Sarah Jezebel Deva (The Kovenant, ex-Cradle Of Filth) has checked in with a new update:

“So, my announcement – which is absolutely huge for me – a dream come true and something I never ever thought would be reality. I am the luckiest woman in the world. I can now announce I’ve been working with the most amazing drummer and human, Trym Torson of Emperor, on new versions of selected tracks from his solo album, Saga Of The North, which was released last year.”

Check out “Minner” featuring Sarah Jezebel Deva, available via Bandcamp, here or below.

Thrymr is a solo project from Emperor’s Trym, featuring cinematic soundscapes telling an epic Viking story.

Trym Torson who is widely known as the drummer on landmark albums of Norwegian black metal like Emperor’s Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk or Enslaved`s Vikingligr Veldi and Frost, moved into uncharted waters by composing music inspired by his longstanding passion for cinematic soundscapes and ambient music.

Thrymr doesn’t have much in common with black metal; instead, the 8 tracks that make up the debut album Saga Of The North are not to be missed if you are into dark sounds which tell their own stories and journeys.

Check out the original version of Saga Of The North below.

Tracklist:

“Landsbyen”
“Trusselen”
“Slaget”
“Gravferd”
“Sorgen”
“Minner”
“Vandringen”
“Håpet”
