ENCYRCLE hail from Odense, Denmark and play what they call "nocturnal speed metal" - a powerful and melodic hybrid of old school speed metal and the more extreme genres that came afterward. The CD is due June 2 from Unspeakable Axe, with an LP version coming just a little later. Here's the first streaming track courtesy of New Noise Magazine - check out "Bloodbasker":
We've got a video up for a new preview track from Encyrcle. This is "Dizzy Me Deadly" and it might be the wickedest, fastest song from the album. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dV7Et9d7I2E
Here is the entire Encyrcle album streaming courtesy of Invisible Oranges. "Add Denmark’s Encyrcle to 2015’s growing crop of powerful classic-style bands... Encyrcle have a sneering sense of attitude that some of their peers lack. They call themselves nocturnal speed metal, but what that really means is (fittingly for a Danish band) they sound like they listen to a whole ton of Mercyful Fate."
"The self-titled opus from Encyrcle is nothing short of amazing. A thrashing masterpiece in fact. Total old school worship with awesome production skills that really bring forth the obvious power that this album has." 5/5 - Brutalism http://www.brutalism.com/content/encyrcle-encyrcle
"Encyrcle plunge a knife deep into the traditional metal scene and force in a brilliant mix of ‘80s power metal and black metal with a gloomy sense of doom looming over top." - Beatroute http://beatroute.ca/2015/04/29/encyrcle-encyrcle/
"Encyrcle’s speed-driven, powerful sound is a real treat, and their self-titled opus takes me back to when metal first bore its way into my heart. It’s a fun listen, an engaging collection of songs, and a call to arms (even if only metaphorically speaking) that should rekindle your initial feelings for this type of music and make you want to ride this fiery chariot all the way to the gates of end time." - Meat Mead Metal https://meatmeadmetal.wordpress.com...-metals-heart-provide-thunderous-first-album/
