Enemy Inside released their new album, Venom, on February 28 via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM). They have an official video for the title track, which can be viewed below.

Venom can now be ordered in the physical format of your choice (CD and vinyl versions come with bonus track “Innocent”), saved on your favorite streaming platform, or ordered digitally here.

Eager to experiment and more energetic than ever before, Enemy Inside have packed eleven new tracks onto the album, with which they venture into harder, more complex territories – based on a rousing mix of metalcore, industrial and modern rock. Venom was recorded under the aegis of guitarist Evan K, who also produced the record at Epsilon Studio before Christoph Wieczorek (Sawdust Recordings; Annisokay) gave the work his mixing and mastering polish.

“We have the feeling that we have finally found the sound that suits us, but that doesn’t mean that our next record will sound the same,” sums up Nastassja. “I think it’s important to understand that a band wants to develop and develop musically. It’s simply up to us to write and play the music we like as a creative collective – and that’s exactly what this new album represents: we wanted to keep the catchy melodies, but at the same time incorporate more breakdowns and harsh vocals, without giving ourselves any credit to set stylistic boundaries.”

Venom has become an enormously varied, yet unified work and is just waiting to finally be discovered by Enemy Inside’s following.
