Entombed- Clandestine and Left hand Path

Morning Star was nothing short of a tribute to Slayer.

I read an interview with the singer and they wrote all the songs with slayer in mind.

So go get it you fucking piles of worm cum.

OK, in some years then, take as an obligation to listen to Terrorizer- World Downfall, A in the heavier sound alphabet.

That is a great CD. Wasnt David Vincent the singer on that one. I'll have to find that one in my collection and listen to it again.

partially. the main vocalist was Oscar Garcia from Nausea. (I don't even have the CD, and I USED to have that album on a tape. :( )

Oh well...

A in the heavier sound alphabet. holy shit, beautiful AND brilliant. I'm dyin here.
I bought wolverine blues a while back. i have the full of hell single, too. great song. good album. their st collage album is good, too. \m/
funny that slayer's new sound is copped from entombed, isn't it? the circle is closed. gotta love slayer if only for their legacy.

Well im gonna get slammed for this but Entombed seems clownish to me now days. They have become somewhat boring to me over the years. They dont really come off as evil to me at all. I have a few of there songs downloaded from earlier years, nothing to impressive, but its better than alot of the shit being spewed onto the earht now days.

You won't get slammed nor anything. I can say (that's of course my subjective opinion) that many of the bands from the beginning of the 90-ies turned into something completely different from what they used to be. They are not and won't ever be what they were in their first albums, of course, I don't think they should always remain the same, every band "grows", but some of them, big majority, "shrink". As I said, subjective opinion only.

Yes, many great and not so great bands due "sink" as there years progress. There are very few bands i know that have not changed there sound since they began. Some of the changes within bands i like. For example, i love every CD Emperor has produced, but Prometheus sounds nothing like Wrath of the Tyrant. There both great. On the other hand Darkthrone (i know you all just love these guys) havent changed there sound in over 12 years and i still love them too.
