I just got this promo, and I must say I was not expecting anything worth a crap. I'm a huge fan of Entombed (all their stuff . . . not just the early stuff), but 'Unreal Estate' just sounds like a strange venture for the band. Back in 2002 Entombed did a live show while a ballet was performed to their music. Wouldn't it make more since to release a DVD of that experience? Well, that's not what happened.

Instead I have a single CD consisting of the live material from that performance . . . . . . . . . . and I must say I'm very surprised. The material was recorded with NO overdubs, so this is the real live performance. Entombed plays stuff from most of their albums, but they rearange it in a way that you can actually imagine the ballet performing to it. All the songs are more dynamic and ambient in parts. I'd actually like to see Entomed make an album like this. Its kind of like Entomed meets Old Man Gloom/Isis/Neurosis. Very cool live album!
