I'm kinda proud of this one, since it's my first song with a lot of synth stuff. Been working on this the whole day, so I think I have became deaf to the flaws in the mix.

How does it sound, the balance, drums etc?

your synths/strings are too loud for my taste, rhythm guitars too low imo
the solo sound is a tad too harsh for me

but the tune is really really nice! great leadwork!

It's very difficult to add low end to the guitars, because it doesn't translate into the mix very well. At least in my case. I try to bring the low end to the mix solely with bass, but it seems to not work. I'm really into my current guitar sound, but that thin sound bugs me. Is there any advice other than "boost xxx frequencies"?

Well, if you dont want to boost the guitars you have to boost all the mix. A boost in the right place and with the factor Q applied correctly works very well. But sometimes a boost in low end requires some more equalization in other areas.

Well, if you dont want to boost the guitars you have to boost all the mix. A boost in the right place and with the factor Q applied correctly works very well. But sometimes a boost in low end requires some more equalization in other areas.

I'll try few tricks and upload the revised track in a while.

There's some strange clicks in the end... Almost like clipping.

Clicking doesn't show up in the waveform... Wtf? I hope my hard drive isn't going to break down in near future. Bad electricity or something? It disappears only if I re-record the track. Anyone else had the same problem?
