Nice pix, Todd !! I thought the turnout that night was really good. I was guessing that probably 500 or so showed .... not bad for the Chicago burbs. Without Kamelot this time around I wonder what the turnout will be? The date looks to be a Tueday night .. could be scary.

Great job again Todd.

I just love the low noise level of your shots. black is pure black.
I experienced that in most smaller venues a 2.8 lens is not good enough, got a new 28mm 1.8 this week and will have a 85mm 1.8 very soon. After that i'll start saving for camera with more pixels than the current 6mp. Hopefully i will get more clear shots after that as well.

(this reminds me that i still have to publish the Epica pics from the Kamelot tour back in 2005, lazy me)

Thanks again for the compliments! Like they say, an expensive camera or lens doesn't make you a better photographer, but it can certainly help you get those technically challenging shots (speed, low-lighting) that you could not get with just any camera.

I look forward to your Epica shots. Better late than never! I love the ones you've taken previously of Simone.

wtf is that? lmao

As usual, amazing pictures!

That was when Dark Tide and Yardley Bates flashed their breasts at Simone from the audience. ;) Those two are out of control.

Is this the shot after she was blinded by the horror of that image?

Awesome pictures once again. Still have one of your Kamelot shots for the desktop of my computer at work.
