EQ a single drum from Slate kit

I'm a noob.

I'm using Kick 10 in a mix, and it's got wayyy to much low end for my tastes, how can I EQ a single drum from the kit without dropping the low end on the entire slate / kontakt channel? All I see in my Cubase mixer is "Kt. St. 1 L"...

Depends on the DAW, but you want to use Kontakt as a multi-output instrument, not stereo. The manual explains how to do it...

You can do it within Kontakt too. Open up the SSD mixer and you have effects you can select for individual pieces. Not the best solution but it works for small stuff.
