Man what an awsome album this is. Sorry if it has been said before, but it took me some time to get into. Anathema albums normally just fall in place for me, but this one, i couldn't get into it at first, but now that i have, it is just brilliant!!!!

i dont know much about vinny at all but i cant really understand this attitude of danny. everyone knows they are not a metal band anymore (but surprisingly they have one heavy metal song in their last album...anyways...) but they dont really have to do that when the crowd welcomes those songs with enthusiasm. be it metal or whatever the hell it is, that eternity album is excellent. and it really hurts me to read that one of my favorite musicians makes those faces at his listeners or such comments as "i wouldnt want thom yorke or björk to get a wrong idea about our music."

Eternity is a fooking good album aye. (Apart from the first and last tracks) Anyways I was listening to Eternity about a month ago and really got into it for the first time. It seems to have mellowed with age, it doesnt seem as barbaric as it did when I first heard it, in fact I dont really consider it a metal album at all now, more like heavy rock, something to have on while you drive your car around wearing your shades and pulling mean faces.

No Im not bothered about amount of Anathema threads as its all related anyway. Besides Duncan is a half of Eternity and he is a half of Antimatter, so a thread about Eternity does have its place on the Antimatter forum

Strange, I actually had my first "wow, this is special" Anathema moment with "Sentient" way back in the days, I can still remember exactly where it was and every time I walk by there, I think about it. Them were the drama days.
