I also find the gain on the high side.
I think I have never passed around 6.

But that will depend on the pickups and if he's using a TS or not...

the gain might be turned up a bit on the high side, but it very well could be because it's a demo...doesn't mean that the same setting would be used on a recording or actual live performance
