Evil-lÿn confirmed for Up The Hammers VII festival in Athens,
EP to be released in February by Iron On Iron Records.
Finnish traditional heavy metal band Evil-lÿn has been confirmed for Greece’s Up The Hammers VII festival. The 7th edition of the legendary festival is set to take place March 2-3, 2012 at the An Club in Athens. Evil-lÿn is set to play on Friday the 2nd. Other confirmed acts include for example Shok Paris, Skyclad, Pagan Altar and Cloven Hoof.
Evil-lÿn is the first Finnish act to perform at the prestigious Up The Hammers festival. It will also be the bands first show outside of Finland.
Bands debut EP, titled The Night Of Delusions, is scheduled for February release. The 5-track EP will be released by the Greek label Iron On Iron Records. Having previously released albums by, e.g., Skull Fist and Cauldron Born, Iron On Iron Records is a perfect fit for the female fronted Finnish Heavy Metal horde.
