Creed....(shudder)

i saw kings x for the first time back in august w/ dream theater and joe satriani. WOAH, i still cant figure out how 3 guys can sound that huge.

Isn't that amazing!!!?????!?!?! Those three part harmonies are so ...... heavenly!!!!! I saw them at this little tiny theater in Hollywood many years back and they asked if anyone had anything they wanted to hear. I screamed out "GOLDILOCKS!" and they played it! :goggly: I almost died

i saw them at a place here in atlanta called the tabernacle, it used to be a huge church. a week later in the very same place i saw slayer soulfly in flames and some crappy band called downthesun.

i saw slayer play in a church

King's X are awesome... but I wonder what possessed them to play with Dio and Hammerfall... all the Manowar/Hammerfall/baby-oil-loving-fans were ripping them to pieces on the Bruce Dickinson and Iron Maiden BBs

I mean... no offense to those bands, but they just didn't belong in that bill... now the Dream Theater tour, that was a great idea...

woah, I've been there, the one and only time I was in Atlanta (for the Prog Power show in 2001). Some NuMetal band was playing there, but there's a small annex to the place called The Cotton Club, where ProgPower had its preparty. So, after hours, there was this huuuuugggeee mix of tattoo'd and pierced kidlets with long-haired leather clad warriors of metal. Pretty funny mix...

Creed's "apology" for sucking ass...
Scott Stapp, Creed's Crap singer, was, "allegedly" high out of his mind during a performance, and complaints from fans that were present at that show, started to show up all over the net

"Dear CREED Fan,
"The band has heard that you are unhappy with the quality of the recent CREED show in Chicago.
"We apologize if you don't feel that the show was up to the very high standards set by our previous shows in Chicago. We also understand and appreciate the fact that there has been much concern about Scott's health and we want to assure everyone that he is doing very well and is taking a much needed break at home in Orlando after a very long and rigorous touring year.
"The band has plans to start writing material for their next record later this year and plan to return to Chicago next year to play a show that will hopefully be better than any of the numerous shows we've played there.
"For now we hope that you can take some solace in the fact that you definitely experienced the most unique of all CREED shows and may have become part of the unusual world of rock and roll history! Again, we apologize if you didn't enjoy the show but remember, 'It's only rock and roll but we like it!'
"Have a great year! CREED"

I saw Kings X live a few years ago with Galactic Cowboys. Great show. Has anyone picked up the Jelly Jam CD? It has Ty Tabor (KX), John Myung (DT) and Rod Mergenstein (Winger). I have a CD by Platypus which is all 3 with the Derek Sherinian (DT) and it is great, but haven't picked up the Jelly Jam CD.

As for Creed, I think I lost interest. I really liked the first CD, second one isn't bad but then it seemed like the same ol same ol.
