EVPs

[Ominous Luminous]

Tonight my friend and I went to a local cemetery to see if we could capture any paranormal voices (Electronic Voice Phenomena) on my tape recorder. We decided to just walk around for a bit, seeing if there were any areas of the cemetery that had unusual activity. When we got to the war memorial section we both heard a strange clinking sound coming from behind some trees. We walked around them and came upon the section of the cemetery that I don't like going into, Lullaby Lane. This is the section where all of the children are buried. It's fucking scary even when weird sounds aren't moving around it. We couldn't help but notice that this section felt really cold. We walked around for a minute or so and the clinking sound moved back around the trees towards the war memorial section again. On the tape you can hear me say "what the fuck is that?" followed by a whisper that almost sounds like an answer to my question. It wasn't my friend. A minute and a half later there is another whisper that isn't my friend or myself. Another minute after that there is what I would describe as a gong type sound. While we were there we didn't hear anything that sounded at all like a gong.

There is also something that sounds like marching band music at one point. If I remember correctly it was around the point when we walked past a grave that had an accordion engraved on it. It said something about how he was a great husband and musician. After that point there is only one more distinguishable EVP. My friend and I aren't sure, but it might be me mumbling.

We left shortly after this voice because there was a car coming into the cemetery and we thought it might be the police.

Tomorrow I'm going to work on making the EVPs clearer and make little samples out of them.

I have a few more examples from that night, but I'm still trying to figure out if they are voices, or just weird ambient sounds. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas what these EVPs are the result of (i.e. intercepted radio waves) let me know.

I think it'd be better if you posted samples without descriptions of what we're "supposed" to hear so we can better compare

I heard the whisper in the first one...and voices in the third...that's not you guys? I didn't hear a gong, though. And I'm imagining the police sirens are not mystical?

That's awesome that you were able to hear the whispers. It's almost definitely not me and my friend in either of them. Most people can't hear the voices or the gong. Those police sirens were most certainly of mystical origin.

wow, really? i wonder if they're some kind of tape flaw, because i didnt think EVP stuff was so...blatant? it's so hard to separate tape flaws from real EVPs sometimes, i think...

In case you're not joking I should point out that the police sirens were from real police cars. Definitely not EVPs.

hey, are there any reported GHOST COPS? i've never heard of a policeman ghost.

Me neither. But I'd hate to be chased by one.
