I am a solo act as well, performing guitar, bass, sequenced drums and synths here and there. I do all the engineering and am responsible for mixing, mastering, the final product. I do everything from my studio which has the bare minimums as far as gear goes.
I just now released/uploaded my first purchasable LP in the digital realm on iTunes (worldwide), Napster and Amazon DLC. I used Tunecore as a means to get it out there: http://www.tunecore.com.
Will post when it's available on iTunes. I have no samples to speak of right as I took down all my accessible recordings.
