Ex-Sabaton Members recruit singer Nils Patrik Johansson

Ex-Sabaton members Rikard Sundén (guitars), Oskar Montelius (guitars), Daniel Mullback (drums) and Daniel Mÿhr (keyboards) have teamed up with vocalist Nils Patrik Johansson (Astral Doors/Wuthering Heights) and bassist Stefan "Pizza" Eriksson (Volturyon/Ex-Cryonic Temple) to form the band Civil War.
The band is currently writing songs for a debut EP targeted for the fall of 2012 followed up by a full length debut in 2013.

I knew the Sabaton split wasn't amicable.

For me anyway it's good news, as I have followed Nils to every band he has been too (and used to like Cryonic Temple also). Therefore I do have high hopes for Civil War.

Never been a big fan of Sabaton, but I do like NPJ as a vocalist, so may have to check this out.
