From Blabbermouth:

frontman Paul Stanley has confirmed a MelodicRock.com report that he will be featured on the upcoming MONTROSE album as one of the guest lead vocalists. MONTROSE's current recording lineup include Ronnie Montrose on guitar, Ricky Philips on bass and Eric Singer on drums. Guest singers lined up to do a track each include Stanley, Sammy Hagar, Eric Martin, Tommy Shaw and Gregg Rolie. The style of the album is described by Ricky as "old-school '70s heavy rock n roll...no overdubs, no computers..."

Commented Stanley: "Barring any unforeseen contractual problems, I'm hoping to do it since Ronnie Montrose is a friend and killer guitar player. The first album by the original lineup of MONTROSE is one of my all-time favorites."

I find this news to be very exciting. Montrose, Paul Stanley, Sammy Hagar and Tommy Shaw all on the same album! :worship: :headbang:

If you were a great drummer who got offers from some of the biggest, drummer-less names in rock, and for whatever reason you couldn't hold a steady job in a band, wouldn't YOU also take all these top offers?
