San Diego-based metal band Fraxures have unleashed their latest single, “Blackheart Serenade” featuring the powerhouse vocals of Travis Neal (formerly of Divine Heresy) and the thunderous drumming of Fred Aching (Kings of Thrash / Powerflo / Bulletboys). With a lineup that blends raw intensity and technical precision, Fraxures continues to carve its own path in the modern metal scene, delivering crushing hooks and sinister melodies.

Fraxures is debuting their official music video for “Blackheart Serenade” produced by Holly West (Dead Groove / Zepparella) through BraveWords! Watch now:

Following the success of their 2022 EP Firewater Sessions, produced by Billy Graziadei of Biohazard, Fraxures solidified their reputation for seamlessly blending aggression and melody. The EP showcased the band’s dynamic range, setting the stage for their next evolution. Firewater Sessions was a statement of intent that the band is now ready to expand upon.

“Blackheart Serenade”, mixed by Joel Wanasek (Ice Nine Kills / Machine Head) and mastered by Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More / Cynic / Sepultura), offers a new glimpse into the haunting energy that defines Fraxures.

The song’s punishing riffs and catchy melodies signal a new chapter for the band, both dark and electrifying. Fraxures is in the studio finalizing its upcoming full-length album, Hexes, which promises to push its sound to even greater depths.
