Nobody ever talks about the 2nd one...it's probably my favorite of the three, although all of them were progressively crazier...completely awesome. I hope the prequel uses Max Von Sydow, as he WAS Father Merrin...

Oh, wow...I just saw the IMDB page on it, and saw that they cast Stellan Skarsgård as Father Merrin...who at least somewhat resembles Max Von Sydow
