Extreme

And about Hendrix, I agree with Wrathy. Listening to him now, after the '80s era of highly technical guitar playing of course he sounds rough as guts and you might say he's overrated coz he has nowhere near the skill level of the other guitarists. But you kinda have to place yourself in the era when he was playing. In 1966-1970 he blew everybody's mind. The era of speed metal and big hair flash guitar was non-existent at the time.

While most people regard Pornograffiti as their high moment, Extreme's III Sides To Every Story is one of those hidden gems of the early '90s that never gained the cred it deserved due to the grunge "revolution." Great songwriting [it's a concept album of sorts], excellent performances all round, and a well-produced, sumptuous sound. Beware though, it may take some time to grow on you. It's worth the effort.

Do not pass this one.

For years I dismissed The Beatles as my parents' music and didn't give them a second thought. Then in 1993 I listened to them for myself and found out just how great they are.

I've never liked The Rolling Stones though. Funny that.
