Looking forward to this! From Blabbermouth:

Swedish metallers FALCONER will release their seventh album, "Armod", in Europe on June 3 via Metal Blade Records. The CD features 11 songs completely sung in Swedish and four bonus tracks that are said to be English versions of the bandmembers' favorite new songs.

"Armod" was once again recorded at KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy La Rocque's Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden during December and January. FALCONER states, "The recording and mixing process went smoother than ever before.

"The album is embracing the Swedish folk music to a greater extent than before making it sound slightly more down to earth.

"The music spans from acoustic songs with cello, flute and fiddle to songs with blast beats and really heavy riffing.

"As said before this is a 'one-time-only' album and does not define the future sound of FALCONER, but it was about time to pay full notice to the infuence that has always made us different. Now we have that out of our system!"

"Armod" track listing:

01. Svarta Änkan
02. Dimmornas Drottning
03. Griftefrid
04. O, Tysta Ensamhet
05. Vid Rosornas Grav
06. Grimborg
07. Herr Peder Och Hans Syster
08. Eklundapolskan
09. Grimasch Om Morgonen
10. Fru Silfver
11. Gammal Fäbodpsalm

FALCONER is:

Mathias Bladh - Vocals
Stefan Weinerhall - Guitars
Jimmy Hedlund - Guitars
Magnus Linhardt - Bass
Karsten Larsson - Drums

FALCONER's most recent album, "Among Beggars And Thieves", was released in August 2008 via Metal Blade Records.

FALCONER in 2007 extended its deal with Metal Blade for another four albums.

Those are some really cool titles. I'm glad that at least one metal band with clean vocals has decided to make music in Swedish. I wish more did.

New album all in Swedish. Yeah, that'll get them booked for PP 2012.

I'm not happy with that at all, and I love Falconer.

They have more than just songs in Swedish, so that really makes your assumption pretty stupid... Plus, there's nothing wrong with lyrics in other languages. There is much more (and nicer sounding) out there than English, ya know? Maybe you should try learning a foreign language - you might appreciate "foreign" singing...

The Blabbermouth article neglected to mention that the bonus tracks will be in English. This got a hearty LOL from me. I freaking love those guys. :D

Naturally, I'll have to buy the European release with the bonus tracks. Just so my collection is all matched up. Not because I'm a Falconer fangirl... <.< >.>

This is all fairly old news, since all of this info was discussed awhile back on the Falconer forums. Fellow Falconer fans really should consider signing up, as we could use more traffic over there. http://boards.4metal.net/index.php?board=14.0 (erm, are we allowed to advertise other forums here? Apologies if not.) I've been on their forums so long, I'm still using one of my original forum monikers there. Egads.

YEAH I MEAN THERE'S NO WAY THAT RAMMSTEIN, FINNTROLL, KVELLERTAK, KORPIKLAANI, ELUVEITIE, TYR, WOULD EVER PLAY THE US BC THEY DONT SING ENGLASH. WTF IZ DIS. I MEAN I THINK WE SHOULD ALL TAKE A CUE FROM SAMMY LJ WHO SAYS IN THAT MOVIE PULP FUNCTION : "ENGLASH, CAN YOU PLEASE SPEAK IN IT?"

Definitely will get that. I got their last album at ProgPower the year it was released and lost it 2 days later. Sucks.

awesome, I feel like their more strictly folk stuff lays it on pretty heavy for me sometimes, but I love it anyway. I love just about everything they've done except a good half of 'Grime VS Granduer'..but that was because some of those songs were crap, not because of Kristoffer.. the 'Sceptre' album is a top favorite of mine from them..

I really liked Kristoffer. I was sorry to hear that he no longer is any metal bands. I believe he now does what was described to me as a "party metal cover band." I was super-happy when Mathias returned, but I do wish Kris was still doing some sort of original metal project. :(

GvG, as I understand it, went in the harder direction because of Kristoffer. But it has some really killer tunes. Child of the Wild is probably my favorite tune from that album. The re-recording with Mathias Blad singing it is really wonderful. It lacks the edge provided by Kris' voice, but it's more haunting with Mathias' voice. I have a hard time deciding which version I prefer.
