Did anybody buy this,and if so,did you receive the DVD with it?I opened mine yesterday,and lo and behold,no DVD?!!!There isn't even a place to house the dvd...no two sided cd cover,no nothing! But the case and packaging clearly states there is a DVD with the reissue.I'm totally confused here...

No, but I wanted to get APSOG reissue, but haven't yet. I wasn't aware that they were reissuing No Exit.

FATES WARNING's classic 1988 album "No Exit" will be re-released in Europe on October 8 via Metal Blade Records (except in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, where it will arrive on October 5). The reissue will contain a remastered version of the original album plus outtakes, demos, and a bonus DVD featuring live footage from the "No Exit" world tour 1988 as well as the "making of" the "Silent Cries" and "Anarchy Divine" music videos. The complete track listing is as follows:

CD

01. Anarchy Divine
02. Silent Cries
03. In A Word
04. Shades of Heavenly Death
05. The Ivory Gate of Dreams
I. Innocence
II. Cold Daze
III. Daylight Dreamers
IV. Quietus
V. Ivory Tower
VI. Whispers On The Wind
VII. Acquiescence
VIII. Retrospect

Bonus tracks:

* "Quietus" demo
* "Ivory Gate of Dreams" outtake #1
* "Ivory Gate of Dreams" outtake #2

Bonus DVD

* "No Exit" Documentary
* "Silent Cries" Video
* "Anarchy Divine" Video
* "Valley of the Dolls" Video
* Live in Philadelphia 1998

Running Time: approximately 68 minutes

My point exactly...but there is no clues inside that there would be a dvd,not even enough room for a slipcase inside...speaking of,Ray's tryout for Quietus is really sweet! He nailed it,and its so close to the recorded version its amaxing!The outtakes sound like a bridge between Awaken the Guardian and No Exit...theres a little of both in the songs.I'm glad they re-issued it,but the remastering hasn't really improved the sound to any large extent.Maybe I'll have to pick up the MB 50th anniversary version of the disc 25 yrs down the road.

Yes, your are missing the dvd. You should contact whomever sold you the disc and have them send you the correct one. Where did you get it from?

We have 75 copies of the anniversary edition with slip sleeve first pressing in stock for immediate shipment and it has a double disc cd jewel-case with both cd and dvd. Dvd is NTSC rated so it plays in the U.S., better check to make sure you don't get a PAL one if you don't have a player.

Reissued and 19 years old, first released in 1988, but these were just for "Metal Blade's 25th Anniversary", not the band's anniversary.

I posted this up on the site(s)last yesterday after receiving the info from Jim:

"Apparently a small percentage of the new "No Exit" package were sent out without the bonus dvd. If anyone has purchased one without a dvd they should return it to the store they purchased it at or email tracyv@metalblade.com and she will take care of exchanging the product."

Should be getting some more info about the upcoming Euro tour very soon and will be posting everything up as the info comes in.
