but the best black metal album, and the best album ever, is EMPEROR's Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk. Hands down, no questions. And its fuckin true as shit.

you guys really think of dissection as black metal? I always coinsidered them melodic death metal. huh. most of my friends and metal brethren think so too....

My favorite black metal album is Dodheimsgard's 666 International. These guys are simply the future of black metal.

you sure you put the right Ulver cd, cause that one is mostly electronic, far from black metal.

Yeah, I know, I wrote it there. Ulver are black-metal stars, that's why I mentioned them. "Nattens Madrigal" and "'Bergtatt - et eeventer 5 capitler' are black. "The Marriage.." seems to be trip-hop, but Blake's opus there was read by Satyr, Fenriz, etc.
