Hey people, how about your favourite bass players? Here are my top one' (in no particular order) :
Ian Hill: he's not a show man, but his work is geared with Priest's sound like a clockwork. If you listen carefully to Unleashed In The East, you'll hear his great technique. And he's one of the founders of one of the finest Heavy Metal bands of the world.
Nibbs Carter: a great bass player and perfect in Saxon's music. Also a great songwriter.
Geezer Butler: very unique, another trademark of Sabbath.
Pete Way: precision, tecnhique, competence. Pete is also a good composer and is one of the founders of another fine Metal band, UFO!
Francis Buchholz: a showman and one of Germany's finest bass players.
Peter Baltes: another top German master.
