For some reason I probably enjoy Phoenix Rising the most. I'm probably the only one.

Not at all. It's probably their most dynamic album. But Unchain the Wolves is like my favorite album of all time so... I can't really vote against that.

Nah, I agree with you LS, I think it's their most consistant at least. Unchain... comes second, the first two tracks and the title track rule in particular but all in all it's a bit too thrashy for my tastes.

Unchain the Wolves ahead of Phoenix Rising. UtW has a more violating raw and aggressive feel to it. Although they both do rule.

I find Unchain The Wolves to be highly overrated, and Cold Steel...For An Iron Age generally underrated. I also find Terror Abraxas to be held in high regard for fairly average music. Phoenix Rising is easily their best, followed by Cold Steel...

"Pheonix Rising" and "Cold Steel..." are fucking awesome, but they don't have the completely blackened atmosphere of "Unchain The Wolves."
