i really like some of the gods cab IRs but if i had to choose a "favourite" it would have to be gregs asem recto but blended with orange_2_mics

mixing Asems Free Impulse and Catharsis (not sure about the spelling) Awesometime 3.
For everything more rock orientated, I use some Harley Benton vintage 30 impulse that
was match eqd with a Bogner.

The two tried and tested favourites - cartharsis and guitarhack. So long as you've got those in your arsenal, you can always get a fantastic tone.
It's like having great drum samples; You don't want to use them all the time, but they always end up in your projects somehow, even if they're blended in with others to make something unique
