With VAN HALEN back in action again and reunited with David Lee Roth i thought i'd take this opp to see who you guys favour as the definitive VAN HALEN frontman?

I'm a big Hagar fan but Cherone is also bloody awesome doesn't deserve a fraction of the shit he cops.
Roth is pretty much like Ozzy to me... just because he was there first doesn't make him 'definitive', and surrounding yourself with talented musos in your solo career still doesn't change the fact that you're shit.
+1 appreciation for F.U.C.K. - probably my fave VH album.

Somehow i don't think Mr Cherone has much support outside of Ferret.
He was great on the first 3 EXTREME albums though.

Cherone as a vocalist is great...Cherone in didn't get enough time....he was pretty good live although he does come across as one who is fond of dick.

Liked Cherone in Extreme, hated him in Van Halen, pretty hard choice between the other too, would probs err towards DLR.
