Hi All,

Longtime lurker here. A lot of my efforts have been guided so gracefully by all of you here. Wanted to share my first "official" endeavor in production. (It is Metalcore I guess...?)

I tracked\recorded all instruments except for Drums which were SD2.0 (due to budget) and I mixed the EP and sent it off to Mr. Alan Douches at WWSS for mastering. (excellent dude)

and if you guys like a visual representation:

Wanted to hear some feedback from you guys on the content & mixing. As we are prepping for a new album early next year, I am in the midst of deciding whether to take undertake the mixing\recording duties again for the album, or perhaps outsource mixing\recording duties.

Eager to hear your input! :D:D

I checked your video. I cannot tell about the content since I'm not a metalcore fan but regarding the mixing part, it sounds quite good. However, the vocals sound too dry IMO and I feel that they're not totally blended within the music. My two cents.

Hey Guitar Dude,

Thanks for checking it out regardless of your personal taste! I did have a few complaints about the clean vocals being a little buried in the mix as well as the dry screams. My only "excuse" would be based on personal taste, I'm not a fan of Vocals overpowering the other elements, but i may have overdone it :p. (I am the guitar player...go figure hehe. F-U psycho-acoustics!)

Thanks again!
