Fear Factory has entered the studio and begun recording its first new album in four years. The as yet untitled effort serves as the follow-up to Aggression Continuum, released in 2021 via Nuclear Blast.
Aggression Continuum was the last Fear Factory album to feature original vocalist Burton C. Bell, who was replaced by Milo Silvestro in 2023.
Fear Factory is helmed by guitarist Dino Cazares, with the current lineup rounded out by vocalist Milo Silvestro, bassist Tony Campos (Static-X, Ministry, Soulfly, Prong), and drummer Pete Webber.
This past Sunday, April 20, Fear Factory shared a pair of photos of Webber in the studio along with the following message: “Yes we started tracking drums yesterday for the new FF. The majority is with the 8 string guitar tuned to 8E 7A 6D 5G 4C 3F 2A 1D.”
